Cooking is not really a household chore (though it sometimes feels like that’s all it is); rather, it’s a lifelong commitment to building your health, the health of your family, and engaging in family and community building. In our busy world, cooking has become a long-lost art — sometimes thought of as a ‘treat’, and other times deemed as an innate skill or talent that only a few are blessed enough to have. Here at MidEats, we think this is misguided at best. Cooking is a learned skill, and anyone with some patience, a love for flavors, and a knack for the finer things in life can learn to master it.

Coming from Middle Eastern families that value home cooking, we created this website to share with you our tested recipes – some super simple food pairings, and other more complex (but easily followed)  step-by-step creations. Take a moment to feast your eyes on some of our culinary creations, and then hop over to the our searchable recipe page, where you can search by ingredient, cooking method, course or dietary restriction. With MidEats, you can be confident that you’ll learn the ropes after a few attempts at a recipe, if not from the first try! If you’re still stuck, don’t hesitate to contact us.
